Narrow Gauge
Convention 2007
Within a few minutes of arriving at
the hotel in Portland, one of mates Dave Revellia was unloading one of
two containers that stored an incredible “G” scale ( 1:20 ) modular
layout....
The photos I captured over two
days, may give some indication of the high quality of modeling that can
be achieved in this scale...So much for large scale railways, being
surrounded by weeds and garden plants. This is modeling at another
level.
Sundance Central will influence
many modelers around the world, over the coming years, with it’s
scratch built structures, highly detailed mini scenes, tall timber,
high trestle bridges, cascading water falls, large scale - beautifully
weathered motive power and rolling stock, hand painted life like
figures and animals, large scale modular system and finally , “light
weight” construction.
Congratulations to the guys who
produced this amazing piece of art.
